Ouyang Yuanjiiao

Originally from China and now based in Switzerland, Yuanjiao brings a quiet, cinematic sensitivity to her photography. When words fall short, she lets wind, light, and shadow speak, capturing the emotional undercurrents of everyday moments.

Her work moves between portrait, landscape, lifestyle, and travel, always guided by a sense of gentle storytelling. Whether photographing strangers, friends, or herself, she listens closely to the stories that surface in stillness — and frames them with care. Through her lens, images become not just records, but small emotional narratives, where atmosphere and human presence meet.

Her images formed the very first visual language of mep, created in her home studio with patience, warmth — and plenty of help from Toto, our beloved Chief Distraction Officer. 🐶
