MEP warmly invites you to the vernissage of Hhh – Ahhh, a new solo exhibition by Zurich-based artist Tobias Gutmann.
Breath belongs to the most familiar movements of the body. It accompanies us constantly, quietly, almost without asking to be noticed. And yet it is also something that easily slips from awareness. In the pace of contemporary life, breathing often becomes shallow, interrupted, or held without us realising. Hhh – Ahhh begins from this subtle threshold — from the point where breath, attention, and bodily presence meet.
The exhibition grew out of Tobias Gutmann’s intensive breathwork practice. In this process, breath became less a background function than a source of perception: a way of sensing how much the body holds, how tension settles within it, and how profoundly inner states can shift when breathing changes.
